TCCT
shares
space
with
the
Old
Town
Playhouse
(OTP)
of
Traverse
City,
housed
in
a
renovated
three-story
turn-of-the-century
church.
Performance
areas
are
barrier-free
and
include
a
358-seat
main
stage
auditorium
and
an
80-seat
studio
theatre.
The
Playhouse
also
houses
conference
and
multipurpose/rehearsal
rooms,
a
wood
shop/set
construction
and
storage
area,
make-up
rooms,
and
costume
construction
and
storage
facilities.
In
addition
to
the
use
of
OPT
facilities,
touring
productions
of
TCCT
travel
to
area
schools,
community
centers,
libraries
and
bookstores
to
bring
dramas
designed
to
strengthen
life-affirming
skills
for
students
from
first
grade
to
high
school.
TCCT
also
uses
school
facilities
for
after-school
enrichment
programs
convenient
to
neighborhoods
and
families.
