Unless other wise indicated (please read descriptions carefully), all of our productions are performed at our facilities at 148 E. Eighth Street in Traverse City. Tickets to any given performance will be made available no later than 2 to 3 weeks before the first performance date. All listing may be subject to change or cancellation. TCCT's 2008 Roster of Plays

The Doctor in Spite of HimselfBy Moliere: One public performance only (but will be touring to area schools during the month of April). This farcical comedy is about how a mean man is tricked into being a doctor for a love-struck young woman and how he eventually helps her to marry the man she loves. Performing May 4 at 7 PM in the OTP studio theatre. Tickets: $6. Best suited for teen and adult audiences.

The Bully Show
One public performance only (but will be touring area schools during the month of May). A fun play about a serious subject; the problem of bullying in schools. Performing May 17 at 11 AM at the TC Main Library, 610 Woodmere in Traverse City. Admission is free but donations are welcome. Suitable for all ages.

James and the Giant Peach

James and the Giant Peach. Performing June 13 at 7 PM, June 14 at 2 and 7PM. Admission is $4 for kids, $8 for teens and adults. This play is suitable for all ages.



Charlotte's Web (a musical)

Performing July 18 at 7 PM and July 19 at 2 & 7 PM. Admission is $4 for kids, $8 for teens and adults. This play is suitable for all ages..

A Dolls HouseA drama by Henrik Ibsen, adapted by Albert Pia. Performing August 8 & 9 at 7 PM in the OTP studio theatre. Tickets: $6. Best suited for teen and adult audiences.

Kid Rocket
(a musical) An original short musical by Ken McKay. Performing August 9 at 2 PM in the OTP studio and will be presented by TCCT’s youngest musical theatre students. Running time is about 20 minutes. Admission is $3. This play is best suited for very young audiences.

Little Red Riding Hood
(a musical) Performing August 16 at 2 & 7 PM. Admission is $4 for kids, $8 for teens and adults. This play is suitable for all ages.

The Odyssey
Based on epic poem by Homer. One public performance only (but will be touring to area schools during the month of November). Performing November 15 at 11 AM at the TC Main Library, 610 Woodmere in Traverse City. Admission is free but donations are welcome. Suitable for all ages.


Jekyll and Hyde
Performing November 17 & 18 at 7 PM in the OTP studio theatre. Tickets: $6. Best suited audiences 10 years of age and up.


For its 2008 Li’l Broadway Production, TCCT is proud to present


(a musical) Performing December 5 & 6 at 7 PM and December 7 at 2 PM and again on December 12 & 13 at 7 PM and a final performance on December 14 at 2 PM. Ticket prices TBA. This play is suitable for all ages.
